About GlobalTrakGlobalTrak is an information services company that utilizes mobility technologies and advanced cargo sensors to deliver real-time situational awareness and intelligence to help companies perform better and improve business processes and operations. GlobalTrak is a division of System Planning Corporation (SPC) of Arlington, VA. Founded by leading Pentagon scientist Dr. Ronald Easley in 1970, SPC’s mission for 40 years has been to support national requirements through research and development of high-technology systems. SPC plays a vital role in the analysis and development of U.S. national security initiatives and policy. When the September 11, 2001attacks demonstrated U.S. vulnerability to asymmetrical attack, SPC began working on ways to improve the security of the millions of shipping containers bringing goods to the United States each year.
As technology for cargo tracking has matured, the GlobalTrak team has adapted these technical capabilities to provide ever more knowledge about the location and condition of cargo transiting the world’s commercial trade lanes. Understanding the necessity of visibility for improved supply chain management and the security of cargoes, GlobalTrak provides its customers actionable business data in real and near-real time from the far corners of the world.
Today you can manage your cargo throughout intermodal transits with the operational intelligence provided by the GlobalTrak system.
